Lüneburg Heath is rightly one of the most popular hiking areas in northern Germany. A unique natural space, characterized by picturesque heathlands, meadows and forests, along with small river valleys and brooks in the midst of enchanting hilly landscapes, guarantee a versatile hiking holiday for the whole family and especially for dogs. The many marked circular trails around our cottages in Bispingen are very attractive. They lead you to numerous sights and excursion destinations. The "Heidschnuckenweg" proceeds just 400 meters from our cottages, and is one of the most popular hiking trails in Germany.
The hiking trail network
The option of combining 23 circular hiking trails in the municipality of Bispingen guarantees that you won't be bored. In our cottages, you will of course find suitable maps and brochures regarding the hiking trail network and the tours designated by Bispingen-Touristik e.V.. In addition to the circular paths, the Heidschnuckenweg and partial sections of the Jakobsweg also attract visitors to Lüneburg Heath.
The Heidschnuckenweg - A certified quality hiking trail
Especially popular is the Heidschnuckenweg, which leads from the Harburg mountains through the entire Lüneburg Heath, very close to our cottages, to Celle in the south of the Heath. One of the most attractive quality trails of the German Hiking Association extends over a total of 223 kilometers. From Niederhaverbeck, the fifth section of the quality hiking trail leads over 17 kilometers to Bispingen and the sixth section from our holiday resort over 23 kilometers to Soltau.
